BOSTON- Senator DiDomenico recently sat down with Jenny Johnson of Comcast Newsmakers for an interview to discuss his new role as Vice Chair of Senate Ways and Means, as well as his top priorities for the current legislative session. Comcast Newsmakers is a public affairs news program produced by Comcast that features informational discussions with elected officials, policy makers, business and non-profit leaders discussing current issues of interest to Massachusetts residents and Comcast customers.
“It was a pleasure to join Jenny Johnson of Comcast Newsmakers for an interview,” said Senator DiDomenico. “The Senate began the new legislative session with the aim of working towards shared prosperity and lifting all families, and we have been working diligently towards that goal. It was great to share some of our achievements and my top priorities for the current session.”
During the interview, Senator DiDomenico discussed his early education legislation and his recent selection as one of 22 legislators in the U.S. to participate in the Early Leaning Fellows program organized by the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL). In addition, the Senator touched upon the process of crafting the Fiscal Year 2016 budget, the highlights of the final budget, as well as the direction of the Senate under the new leadership of Senate President Stan Rosenberg.
